My GP prescribed me atenolol for migraine prevention.
I've been suffering from migraines since I was a child, but in my adult life they've gone up to 2-3 times a week. I take prescription migraine medication for it, but my GP said I should give beta blockers a try as they're healthier in the long run than the migraine medication.

Since it's been known to help for anxiety symptoms (and I mainly just have the physical symptoms now, no longer mentally feel anxious) I thought this might be a good idea.
My resting heart rate is also usually around 85, so even bringing that down couldn't hurt.

The only thing I'm worried about is my blood pressure.
I've always been on the low side of normal. And I'm afraid it'll get too low and I'll get really dizzy or even faint.

Does anyone know whether it lowers your blood pressure greatly?
