I hope tonight is better for you too.
I have resorted to taking a muscle relaxant to help me sleep a bit.
I have Zopiclone but I really should not take it due to my benzo tolerance.
Some say you should never take zopiclone after tapering off a benzo, the jury is still out on this one.
I did take one last week out if desperation and slept 4.5 hours.

I understand the desperation. I already have a benzo intolerance as have been on diazepam way too long through all this and really only taking it 4mg a day to stop things getting worse until I'm ready to come off it (no idea when that will be at this rate!).

What were you on that you had to taper off? How long? And how did the tapering go?

I was on klonopin, clonazapam here.
I was on and off of it for the last few years, the longest being about a year at .5 mgs twice per day, it just quit working and upping it was not an option cause that just continues to happen.
I tapered off over a couple of months, I think the mirtazapine helped the taper.
I didn't really notice the taper cause it no longer worked.
You may be tolerant to your dose but diazapam is the easiest benzo to taper off of because it has a very long half life.
