Ladies who have had a late period

I'm 8 days late. I'm always either exactly on the date or 2 days before/after.
I've taken two pregnancy tests and both negative my GP says to just relax.
But I can't I'm never late... So I'm scared of pregnancy or it being a medical problem :(
I keep getting the pains like I'm going to come on too.
And about 2 weeks after my period I had some bloody discharge which the GP took swabs and said it was nothing but I can't help but worry about this every day I don't come on its making me worse

Has anybody been late and it was nothing? and how long was you late.

I've skipped and it been nothing. Stress, anxiety, weight changes etc can all impact our cycles.

Yes I have been late and it be nothing, worrying will make it worse though. Try to not stress and you will return to your normal cycles

Hi! the latest I've been is 3-4 days late but my sister has been a whole week late in the past, I'd like to think its just late especially if you keeping the cramps,
late periods can be caused by a few things like poor eating or not eating at all, constipation ect but the thing I'd aim for is stress that's the most common factor and happens alot to me,
i'm sure it'll start soon, hope everything goes well!

Thank you ladies I am almost certain it's stress now too!
However tonight I'm getting bloody discharge again. Hoping it's my period but if it isn't it will worry me to what it is

Hi just to let you all know I started my period and I'm very heavy
