Homeopathic Type Help

Hi Everyone. Haven't been on in a while because (YEA!) I haven't needed to.

After being concerned about taking xanax 'forever' everynight before bed (because most of my attacks' were beginning to come about while sleeping) - and knowing that xanax is highly addictive and also hearing about beta- blockers, but knowing about some of their side - effects including death - I asked my Chiropractor about what he thought.

He immediately said it is adrenal gland related - depletion or something - and got me taking GABA - an amino acid. Then after a month (plus having two immediate attacks and having to take a xanax) he added to the GABA, Bovine Adrenal. I'm still taking the Adrenal but he has taken me off the GABA, apparently I don't need it anymore - and I've only had one attack since then - and mind you, these attacks never go full blown - I'm able to stop them - and have still taken a 1/2 xanax if I haven't felt able to wait it out.

Anyway - thought some of you might like to take that route or at least check it out.

I am feeling like it's better and do NOT take xanax daily - maybe 3 pills since..... August when I started the other stuff.

I always heard that GABA by itself did not cross the blood brain barrier and so it never gets into your head where it is supposedly needed. I tried Picamilon a few times. It's gaba fused with nicotrolic acid. the acid crosses the blood brain barrier and seems to escort the gaba in. It had quite a profound effect, I thought. Although I'm not sure it helped with the anxiety, exactly.

Actually, it did help with general anxiety, but I felt a bit loopy, too.

Anyone else try picamilon?
