Watched the BBC2 programme about the drug trial that went wrong in 2006.
It just makes you wonder about common sense when you have testees having side effects and a doctor still infusing the others.
Good to see at the end that Russia got it right though using 0.01% of the dose over a longer period. What on earth the MHRA were playing at allowing a drug trial using tons more than the monkeys had makes you wonder.
Felt really sorry for the young guy who's fingertips fell off from dry gangrene and lost all his toes & part of one foot to this. I hope they got enourmous payouts for this.

On Saturday afternoons they are showing "When the boat comes in" on the Drama channel. I remember it from years ago. Watching it again!!!!

Are they casting a male helper? Or are they doing away with that stereotype?
