Julia Carling? To balance things out a bit
I suppose it's the "3 in a marriage" theme which can't have been great for JC either.
We watched Maxine too, interesting to see it from her point of view.
Except that Charles having an affair with Camilla was fact whereas 'Carling and Diana' was a rumour started by the press.
Clearly, Carling and Diana struck up a friendship. She asked him to have a coffee with her after gym and he was invited to Kensington Palace several times, also to see the boys (William is a rugby fan)
Julia asked him to stop seeing Diana, but the press photographed his car at KP when he'd gone to give William a birthday present. So, Julia said, 'You know what mate, I'm divorcing you'. Diana was never cited, and Carling was having an affair with the mother of his son at the time of the divorce. So maybe Julia was lashing out at Diana in way that she couldn't do with the other ladies in Will's life? Carling banging some nobody? Not the story of the century. Carling and Princess Diana though? (£££££KERCHING£££££)
I'm not saying they didn't have an affair, but there is no proof that they had one. Julia's word isn't proof. (Carling's range rover parked outside isn't proof of an affair either but the press will do their thing, right?)
They undoubtedly had a friendship and there was probably some infatuation there. (I mean, this was the most famous woman in the world asking Carling if he wanted to go for a brew) It probably wasn't best move on Diana's part, but I believe that her vulnerability caused her to make some poor judgements in general. Maybe she just wanted a bloke to talk to (while Chaz was busy trying to be a tampon) or maybe she wanted to make him jealous. Only they know. (And she's dead) Then again, if she treated her servants like friends, it's not too much of a stretch that she'd invite celebs in for tea and actual crumpets at Kensington Palace?

A thought is harmless unless we believe it.
I still think she's a nasty piece of work though...What do you think, Catkins? The ending was telling as well, I thought. She's now apparently got a child and living under police protection with a new identity. Doesn't seem fair really?
Just finished Nine Perfect Strangers.
Couldn't be bothered to wait every week for another episode so binged watched on Prime. It didn't disappoint.
The Voice is as dull as dishwater.
Format.....
Let's pick the under 30s category. Let's not pick anyone that actually has a good voice.
I missed Paris to Rome hosted by Bethany someone who's a daughter to someone famous. I caught a snippet of the last episode and thought "that looks interesting and a nice visual", so will watch on catch-up.
The Pride of Britain on this coming Thursday so I must remember to get more tissues.
The Voice is utter utter crap.
I can’t bear it and for the last two weeks it’s been on for two hours. Takes the whole of Saturday night up. Mr. D watches it, so me and our eldest just cracked open a bottle of wine last night just to get through it. Thing is, whoever wins is never heard of again, the whole show is pointless….just an ego boost to the judges.
Anyway it’s the final next week, so the end is in sight.
I started the new series of Gangs of London afterwards though.
It’s a cruel beast that you feed…..
Ghost…Spillways
