BGT (lacks variety and too many singers, as per usual)
Re - watched Mr Selfridge
Re - watching Benidorm
Star Trek The Next Generation
A bit miffed there's no more Gentleman Jack
Has anyone been watching Maryland?
Yes BGT, predictable as usual. I prefer the more unusual acts. That chap who made all those musical noises with his voice. I believe he was French? He was very good.
I think Mr.D wants to start the new War of the Worlds series. It’s my sort of thing so I’ll see.
It’s a cruel beast that you feed…..

Me too, the more unusual the better for BGT.
I’ve finished watching this but would recommend The Detectorists , gentle humour , lovely British countryside backdrop and soothing music , I just felt more relaxed at the end of each short episode, when it had finished ( I got into it very late it had run for good few years ) I was Googling when the next series would be , also a nice watch is Mortimer and WhiteHouse gone fishing , I have no interest in fishing but two ageing comedians bouncing off each other while one try’s to teach the other to fish is hilarious and at time very moving as they reflect on their lives .
Oh and tipping point
Oh I love Mortimer and Whitehouse Gone Fishing. They have such a lovely friendship dont they? I find the whole thing very relaxing.

I love Gone Fishing too. What's not to like?
Lovely scenery, humour, featuring quirky accommodation, you almost forget its about fishing.
I watched that Maryland.
The first episode outlines the basis of the story at snail pace. The second episode dragged so much I fell asleep. The last episode was rushed, still didn't answer all the mysteries and it felt it ran out of time.
Would I recommend it? Erm, probably not.
Might give Detectorists a go, thanks Buster.
No posts, nothing decent to watch on TV
That sums it up nicely Mrs.C….there literally nothing to watch anymore. If it wasn’t for Amazon and Netflix I think our TV would be permanently off.

Had a peruse with Prime and can't believe how much stuff they charge extra to watch rent /buy as well as the £8.99 subscription.
