Watched the Trevor McDonald / James bulger programme , very difficult watching James would have been my daughters age , I've always tried to get my head around what happened and what I would have done if it was one of my girls , the boys were ten years old and knew full well what they were doing but would it have been right to let an angry crowd at the time lynch them ? Adults killing kids would that be any better ? But then if it was my girls I would want to kill them , and to hear now that one has been locked up twice for child porn should be still have anonymity? The whole thing is so horrendous I can't get my head around it and god knows how his mum and dad carried on , when I see parents who have lost a child it seems a light has gone out in their eyes a part of them dies as well.

I watched the programme Buster too.
They were talking about it on Radio Stoke the morning before it was aired on TV.
Neither can I get my head around it.

Didn't watch it but remember the case well from when it happened. It shocked the nation.

I really hate how taxpayers money is wasted protecting people like this. I bet they don't struggle to get benefits & housing like those on the breadline do who haven't got the excuse of "rehabilitation" in their corner.

There was another similar murder a few years before and that evil scumbag only dud 8 years and was recently spotted by the victim's family talking about his great life with his GF. I wonder if she knows about his past? God help any kid they have...I bet he's not on any radar for that either so it will be too late once he re offends.

Trauma seems good. Only seen the last hour of the first two. When he brought his wife those clothes it was a bit of an oh dear moment as he's obviously losing it.

I've just seen it is on tonight but closer to 2am. Have they pushed it back or are these repeats?
