pregabalin prescription in Scotland

Hi, Im under impression this is not available for GAD in Scotland, is anyone here on this for it in Scotland?

When I tried this drug 1st time round I lived in Scotland, it is licensed for GAD in Scotland as it is in England. 1st time I tried it was only for a couple of weeks and couldn't sustain it for some reason, I'm feeling different and better on it than before though.

how long ago was that?

I saw a briefing note from Scottish health board online saying that it wasn't licensed in Scotland for GAD

Just a couple of years ago

It was in my GP's BNF medical book as being licensed for anxiety, plus my psychiatrist prescribed it as well for me.

Anyway whether its licensed or not there is evidence out there it works for anxiety, plus many many people have been helped by this drug.

You could always print out some some scientific studies/evidence that pregabalin works and take it to your GP
