hello, you pretty much described my life then, i'm 21 had agoraphobia for 3 years, beforehand was confident, ambitious and out-going, had loadsa friends, enjoyed going out. now i hardly have any friends left (i suppose at least i know who my real friends are now though).. i too have a fantastic boyfriend, i've known him about 8 years but only been with him since june. in the time i have been with him my agoraphobia has improved quite a lot.. i managed to go to a one day festival last summer aswell as a weekend one.. admittably it was called 'THE BIG CHILL' festival.. lol. i also find people think i don't try hard enough to get better, i too have a VERY long list of different things i've tried but maybe i am starting to give up, i don't know? i've been having this debate with myself recently. there are things i'd love to do in my life but i can't ever imagine being better and maybe because of that i'm not trying hard enough.. i too spend my days indoors looking outside and dread the question ''what have you been up to?'' off people.. hope you find the support you want here, its a very good site. x
