Need some info from all of you

Hi there. So last night I was eating some chips, which I shouldn't have been, but regardless, my throat at the bottom, kind of where I assume my esophagus is, started to hurt when I swallowed, kind of like a lump.

My health anxiety instantly goes to throat cancer. I was 100% fine yesterday before having my chips, but even this morning my throat is still doing the same thing.

I know rationally it doesn't make sense, but us with health anxiety don't think rationally. Any help to get me out of this slump would be appreciated.

It sounds like anxiety to me, my Partner gets this a lot.
But, if you are really worried, go and see your GP.

I would go and see the doctor but the problem is that I was just there yesterday afternoon. Of course I didn't say anything to her because I didn't have it.
