This book has been lauded for having great neurodiversity in it

Ive only just started reading it so Im not 100% sure about it yet

Britain as we know it lies destroyed. In the aftermath of the most daring military coup in history, the surviving population is crammed inside giant Citadels, watched over by an army of cloned soldiers. The hope of a nation lies in a tiny number of freedom fighters hidden in the abandoned countryside – most of whom are teenagers who escaped the attack on their special school.
Seen by many as no more than misfits and ‘problem children’, this band of fighters could never have imagined the responsibility that now rests on their shoulders.

It's the 3rd in a younger readers fantasy trilogy. A good light read.

I must admit I sometimes got bored with the 800-900 page Adult books that a shorter well written YA book or series fairs better with me

Yeah, especially if it a heavy going plot.

I find the younger readers books light and humorous. Terry Pratchett's are good and most are Discworld so in keeping with the rest but the other series are good too (The Bromeliad trilogy (like The Borrowers), The Carpet People (I thought was one of the best, again like The Borrowers), Dodger (a bit of Dickens), The Amazing Maurice And His Educated Rodents, etc.

    Re: Reading

I like a good Police procedural as they are normally 3-400 pages long and have a plot you can follow an remember.
    I've read recently:-
Peter James - Not Dead Enough
Harlen Coben - Don't Let Go
    Jo Nesbo - The Phantom
    Jo Nesbo - The Leopard
Peter James - Dead if you Don't
    Luke Delany - The Keeper
