Im reading the 700 page tome
    Grant Morrisons Batman Volume 1

The writing is sublime and 90% of the time the Art is too. This is the quintessential Batman graohic novel.
    10/10

( as good as The Killing Joke and The Long Haloween )

Half A War by Joe Abercrombie.

The Shattered Sea trilogy is definately worth a read if you are into sword & sandals stuff, Vikings, fantasy, Greek or Roman, etc.

I started with The Heroes. I liked the writing style but also how it was witty. I found myself laughing out loud at a sudden comment from say a normally overly formal character with their thoughts about what they wanted to do to their princess, for instance :rolfmao:

Have you read the others? I've yet but the reviews are very good.
