Red face 150mg sertraline still anxious

I have been on sertraline for 6 weeks, gradually working up to 150mg for the past 2 but im still feeling anxious. I feel loads better than I did when I first started but mornings are the worst and still cant face a lot of social situations. Not sure if to increase dose again or does it take longer to get the full effect??? Any advice welcome x

It took me about 4-6 weeks to feel my dose increase, I would give it a little more time if you've only been on 150 for 2 weeks.

    Re: 150mg sertraline still anxious

I started sertraline in sept of 2015 and have slowly increased and am at 100mg now. I feel as though it took months to take full affect, and a couple months just to feel some difference. I am not where I want to be, but pretty darn close. Stick with it. I know it's disappointing that it takes a long time to kick in, but it's worth the wait. At least it has been for me. Good luck to you and I hope it all works out!
