    Can a biopsy be taken?

    Hi all,

I had a spot removed with liquid nitrogen, one round was done at the beginning of January and the second round was done at the beginning of February.

I want to get a second opinion on the lesion, (one doctor thought was seborrheic keratosis, the other a mole). I'm just wondering if I go to another skin doctor for an evaluation, would they be able to take some cells for biopsy?

The area where the mole/seborrheic keratosis was is currently pink/hypopigmented from having the liquid nitrogen applied but the scab has fallen off. There is a bit of brown pigment still left there. Would a pathology be able to get an accurate report to see if it was malignant or not if they were to remove it for biopsy?

    That's a question for a professional.
