Hey, what are your thoughts on Assange being picked up. I've never thought of the guy as a hero, possibly a patriot at times, a villainous enemy at other times. It all depended on his political expediency at the moment I guess. Either way I think he's in deep doo doo. I was wondering though now that Trump seems to have the upper hand on this Russia election stuff and the Brits seem to be quite involved could he have been picked up to be used as a chip by the British to deal with Trump as he is said to be contemplating releasing some very damaging information that your government does not want released. The timing of the arrest was uncanny.

Yes, I think Israel is powerful enough to go it alone and being nuclear with a good military, and one they show they aren't afraid to use, makes them a dangerous country to go against. But I think the feel they can do anything as all the nations that are saying they are in the wrong can't do much against NATO's top player by far. We are all the smaller tribes and you are the Romans. And we haven't stood up to them either but then we like selling arms so...

Assange must be on his 10th change of underwear in 24hrs by now If it was the previous administration I would be wondering he would be made to disappear... but in these times the need to prove anything not to be about the US and about Russian meddling, I expect a lot of powerful people will want to convince him to state "it was all the Red's fault", possibly which giving him a lovely upside down drink of water

We have to see if the Swedes are allowed by law to seek his extradition again. If so, we will be under pressure to hand him over to them...where probably a similar process will take place given tensions between the US and the EU.

I care about the potential crimes against the person and he should be tried for those. I'm not so fussed about him "outing" a bunch of people who don't really follow the rule of law anyway in their day jobs.

Good point, Terry. Without the US in it's back pocket , the rogue and illegitimate state of Israel would have been destroyed a long time ago. JFK was the only American President who wasn't a whore for Israel and we know what happened to him. Donald Trump is the perfect Shabbos Goy.

However, you can't remain neutral in this conflict because the Palestinians are in the front line of the ultimate battle of good vs evil. We're all Palestinians now and we can't be free until Palestine is free.

Jewish extremists won't stop until they establish Greater Israel, destroy the Dome of the Rock, build the third temple and usher in the messianic era. They plan to rule the world from Jerusalem and non Jews will be treated worse than animals without souls. This includes fake Christians and Muslims who are now doing their dirty work.

The far right bunch would treat other Jewish factions the same just as they do in Islam.

I disagree with the actions of both sides in this one but I do think enabling an ancient re-grab of land was never going to go any other way than slaughter. And if the West were less liberal I could see, and this is the ironic thing about Israel, them doing things that our grandparents fought against not too long ago.

The biggest shills for Israel in the US are Evangelical Christians, in particular Christian Zionists. They make up nearly a third of the American population so we're talking about a very powerful group. A large part of Trump's base consists of these Israel Firsters.

These "Christians" believe that Jews are God's chosen people and the establishment of Israel is a fulfilment of biblical prophecies. When Israel re-claims all of historic Palestine, including Jerusalem, the stage will be set for the second coming of Jesus. Their mission is to ensure the survival of Israel at any cost so they're always dragging America into wars against Muslim countries.
