Worried about Mnd/Als

I am really worried i have motor neurone diesease, i have had bad shakes, and jerks for a few months now, feel weak in my muscles on the right side, my muscles ache when i use them and its the illness i fear the most. I have had blood tests. Normal. 2 ecg. Normal. And a reflex test from the doctor where she said it was fine, but i just feel like as soon as i use my right arm it aches and shakes. Please does anyone have any advice.

Have you seen a neurologist? If not, I recommend it. Not because I think you have it, but it'll give you the peace of mind. A clinical exam is gold standard because a neuro can determine if their is weakness or not. True muscle weakness is not about a feeling but a more of not being able to "do." ALS does not present itself with pain and shakes, its full on not being able to do basic things like lift your coffee cup. I went through this same fear over the summer and it took me seeing a neuro for me to move on.
