Abdominal Ultrasound tomorrow at 9am..terrified!

Finally the day of the ultrasound is here. I'm both happy to be finally getting stuff crossed off the list but also petrified of them finding something. What with everything that's been going on, my anxiety is at an all time high. Sorry for the tons of posts about it. I'm just scared they'll find something sinister. But at the same time, i hope they find something to explain the stomach problems? It's a weird thought process i know.

I understand that the test makes you nervous, but it will go one of two ways - most likely they'll find nothing and you'll have your mind put at ease. Alternatively, they may find something, if so, it's most likely not going to be anything serious. At that point you can get treatment.

The alternative is you don't get the scan and spend the next 6 months worrying or allowing a treatable issue to go untreated.

You're doing the best thing for you. Good luck!

Good news! Radiographer said my testicular and abdominal ultrasound looked fine and clear aside from a bit of a fatty liver! I hope this is the start of good results. My stomach is still uncomfortable but I'm happy. I'll go see my GP in a week for the proper results and to see of the fatty liver needs dealing with! just gotta wait for the gastro referral to come through now!
