stomach pain is sending my anxiety into overdrive

Hi all! i really hope someone can help.
i woke up 3 nights ago with a pain that was going right along my ribs and it only lasted about 30 mins and went away again, naturally i got concerned but was very thankful when it went away, but since then i have had a very concerning pain in my stomach, it is in the centre of my stomach right above my belly button, and it literally feel like i have a golf ball in there, it isn't an unbearable pain but it is an ache and it is really worrying me because i have health anxiety and i have basically written myself off as i do with every pain i get. I am also burping alot and never drink fizzy juice so i know this is not the cause, has anyone experienced this before?

You would be surprised...or maybe not...just how painful a stomach/digestive system full of gas can be and this what it sounds like. However, as with everything we cannot tell you for sure what's happening, so it's always best to seek medical advice if the pain persists.

I get really bad IBS if I'm worried about going somewhere, I've found that peppermint tea really helps and its fairly cheap to get your hands on. If that doesn't help, try going to the doctors as they can prescribe things for IBS. x

ive got the same pain i have ibs and the pain gets worse after eating its a sharp crampy pain
