Dark brown stool?

For the last three days my stools have been very dark brown. Normally they are a lighter Brown but I'm now worried I'm bleeding internally. This has been happening for the last three months on and off. Do you think it can be something I've eaten? I had a colonoscopy 10 years ago and nothing was found. There's no bad smell to it and it looks like a normal stool just darker.

Normal.... poo with blood in it is black, tarry and just nasty... been there, done that!

Hi, have you been drinking red wine which notorious for making stools very dark brown and takes 2-3 days to clear from the bowel?

Light brown to dark brown is normal. Constipation can also make stools darker.

The color like light to darkness is based on how long it stays in your system. And I think green means it didn't stay in your system very long.

I have been constipated for a week or so. Well I say constipated - when I need to go I can go bit I do sometimes go 3 days without needing to go. Always had a slow metabolism.
