    is it best to take citalopram at night ??

    Hi as most of u no I started this med few weeks ago and take it every morning but I'm wondering weather to take it before bed because of the side effects what do other people do if u don't mind me asking

    There is no best time... It's what you're comfortable with.. I took at night during the bad side effect stage but now have switched back to morning without problem

    I agree with Jay. I take it in the morning as it gave me insomnia when I took it a few years back. I may try and switch to night as it does make me very tired within 2 - 3 hours.

    I always start in the morning because of the insomnia, then switch to night after 3-4 weeks but not everything suits everyone.

    Ok thanks guys how u getting on with it I'm coming into week 4 with very little effect do things get better
