    Re: 'Jelly on the plate'....

For some reason being embarassing has been a lifelong gift of mine and I am reminded about the time I was training to be a nurse (many moons ago now) and our uniforms were done up with poppers all up the front, with our scissors and stuff attached to a belt attached to the dress (if you see what I mean).

Anyway on the ward a very grumpy ugly old doctor screeched at me for my scissors and in his impatience snatched them from my belt and turned to go off - this had the effect of pulling every one of the poppers on my dress right open.

This would have been very funny if I hadn't been wearing a very grey bra 2 sizes too small and natural tan tights which came up to my chest almost, and if hadn't been wearing my knickers on the outside of them holding them up!!

Oh and I may just have had some red nail varnish painted on the beginnings of a ladder in the tights to stop it getting worse.

    Glamerous - I think not!!

    Ha, wot a hoot!

Shall we start our own 'NMP Belly Dancing Troupe'??

    Just think:

Nic could be Troupe Leader (cos she's going to find me a new icon - can I have one that moves just a little bit pleeeease can I, can I?)

Carl would be chief Ear Wobbler along with Dave777 the Mighty Wobbler

Coni would be doing it backwards (of course!)

Piglet would have Pringles instead of coins sewn onto her hip-belt - have snack will travel eh Piglet?!

And Granny would be movin' and a groovin' at the back trying to keep up !!

Fun Fun Fun..........D'you think we might get on the telly?

    lotsa luv

    GG

    xx

PS: thanks for all your replies!

    Re: 'Jelly on the plate'....

Oooh now I can't cook but I can sew, so shall I make them??

Piglet rummages through her fabric box, flingin out pink feather boas and old tights with hard bits of nail varnish on them, pringles and chickpeas (which make lovely long necklaces in a pinch). Happy to be useful she sits at the sewing machine awaiting instructions!

    Yey! Right on Piglet!

If you find any fluffy Maltesers in your fabric box - they're probably mine! Don't you find Maltesers are fluff magnets??

Anyway, I digress - doesn't matter if you can't cook.....after all your sewing and all our wiggling we can have chick-pea soup with Pringle croutons - sorted!!

Back to work now.......but I'll be thinking of who to ask to design the aforementioned costumes lol !!

    lotsa luv
