Skipped beats like on/off switch

I have them sometimes every two beats

I am experiencing this and also the rapid thumping heartbeat when relaxing.

I found that if you ignore the rapid ones, they become less and less, but the skipped heartbeat worries me.

I also have what I describe as a gurgling feeling in that area sometimes??

I get the hard beats two, usually after the ectopics fade, think its all part of palpitations, they all come under the same umbrella I think, as my cardiologist specialises in palpitations, and he is the one that is dealing with my ectopics, I'm no expert on it, I am just relaying what I have been experiencing, they sound similar to what I get, I am just waiting on the appointment for the 5 day holter and the echo scan, if he says I have nothing to worry about after that then I will have to believe him and try and accept what he says and live with it.

I suppose the good side to it is that if we can hear the beats; we are ALIVE!

Last night I had palpitations that came on suddenly and felt sorr of irregular... I took a xanax and that made me quit sweating and mellowed me out a little. But, It lasted for hours. I eventually fell asleep and when I woke up it was gone. This happens every so often, but I never feel sick or dizzy or unable to do anything. It just sucks that it lasts for so long.
