Can I increase dose during side effects?

It's day 6 of Preg for me. On day 2 I felt my anxiety level go down a lot. This continued until this afternoon. I'm back to anxious, not too severe but I'm wondering if it's sensible to increase my dose which is only 75mg a day to 100mg, one at night, whilst I am still having dizziness, pretty much all day.

I won't see my doc for another couple of weeks. He did say it was highly likely I would need to increase the dose.

If it's not recommended to increase during side effects, I guess I could struggle on with diazepam on standby?
I would love to hear some opinions.

If you have diazepam as a back-up, I would say to continue as initially prescribed until you see your doctor next. It's normal to have some ups and downs when starting up on pregabalin. The best of luck with it.

Thank you Hanshan. I do have some diazepam. Fortunately the anxiety that prompted my post didn't last too long.
