My 4 year old son has severe school phobia and he panics at the very thought of having to go to school. I am very worried about his future. Please suggest me a helpful remedy.

Kids and growing children often howl and scream at the thought of having to attend school. Some kids also pretend to be ill so that they can skip school. Such an unenthusiastic attitude about one’s school not only affects the child but the entire family. However, school anxiety can be certainly treated through therapy. If you think your kid is going through severe school anxiety, it is advisable to provide him with the right medication under the supervision of experts. Be compassionate towards your child and respond to his needs. Also try to find out the reason that prevents him from attending school. If required, speak to his teacher about the anxiety.
