    Chronic Hyperventilation

Ok, I was in the psyche ward 4 days, I was finally managing better, they have me on Ativan, Lexapro, and Doxepin. Well since my cold cleared up and some of this stopped, I've had very rough hyperventilation in the mornings. They assure me I'm ok and it's not PE. I'm 24, they ran numerous tests (clinically they said they can't run a few of them because everything is good. The only indicative thing is low CO2 which is a symptom of said hyperventilation. I've been told I need to breath in my stomach, not above, use paper bags, they all work. So does being kinda flat. But when I kinda sit or stand I'm right back to it. Is this really just hyperventilation that goes on for ages? What should I do? It's not like, crazy fast, just very deep breathing in and out with the occasional freakout.

    Re: Chronic Hyperventilation

Should I believe it is just that? I've heard hyperventilation is 'the' anxiety symptom. Any methods people use on it?
