Letter recived today from NHS - Start CBT 20th March

    Hi,

For all my fiends on this forum who email me from time to time, I just wanted to let them know that I will be starting my CBT very soon and I'm hoping that I will get some benefit from this to help with my fears over the dreaded C word.

I was told August 2007 but I was suprised to receive my letter through the post today to start on the 20th March 2007.

    Hi,

CBT worked for me in the past and I am going to go back again soon to re-train my thoughts again. I stopped to soon I believe.

Good luck. I am certain this will help you.

ive had 3 sessions now, and been told to buy a book, overcoming panic. when im not panicky, it all makes perfect sense and the book is well written altho my counsellor is a touch "soft"...if that makes sense??

finding it hard to apply the cbt theroy when i do feel panicky but suppose if it was easy, we'd all be sorted by now.

still, a new week 2mo so we shall see how that goes

    Good luck.

Maybe you can start a thread once you start and add to it each week.
