    Weight loss - cancer?

    Hi all

Just a quick question - my problem with my throat have still not been resolved, DR is sending me for an endoscopy to check my stomach and I am petrified they find something now.....

I have a question though - approx 3 weeks ago I weighed myself and I have again weighed myself this afternoon - I have lost 1lb without dieting, should this cause me concern as one of the symptoms of cancer is weight loss without trying!

I weighed myself the first time at about 5 pm (so after work) but today I have I weighed myself before lunch time.

    Thanks

Absolutely without a doubt nothing to be concerned about. I've lost more than a pound after a visit to the loo! ~lol~

If you weighed yourself every day there would always be differences. That's why when people diet they say to just weigh yourself like, the same time every week or twice a week or something.

I know! The scales at home come out everyday! Then I go to Boots and get the proper thing done.....

I didn't even notice until somebody took a photo of me.

Suffice to say I found it quite easy to put the 60lbs back on again when I started to feel better.

    Um...did you say (1) pound...as in...more than zero but less than 2? (1)?

When I was at the height of my anxiety I lost 14 pounds in 7 days. Nothing but anxiety caused it. I've hed endoscopy's before. Don't worry you're fine. Maybe you have acid reflux or something...but nothing major.
