Small lump armpit

I'm pregnant, and breastfeeding.
Yesterday I discovered a small bump, in my armpit. I showed my obgyn, she didn't say much. It doesn't hurt. I'm worried. I'm thinking about asking her about it again. I can't sleep I'm so worried, it's something serious,

Has anyone experienced a painless armpit lump before ? By the way I've been having runny nose for about 3 or 4 days now, and my child is coughing a lot.

It may be a swollen lymph gland because you're coming down with something. If the size of the lump changes, I'd advise seeing the doctor again.

How do you know if the size changes?

Well you feel it, and take a good look at it, examine it. If you think it's bigger now than it was, say, a couple of days ago, then I'd suggest having it checked out. I'm fairly certain you've got nothing to worry about, though.

I'd agree with Ana, I actually had a small lump (the size of two small peas) just above my armpit, more to the front of my shoulder, I was very worried but after three days it went- as Ana said it was likely a swollen lymph node, it was about a month ago now and it hasn't returned and I've had no further trouble
Keep an eye on it, don't prod or fiddle with it and see how it is in 2-3 days.

I went to the breast specialist today and they said it was a benign lymph node, nothing to worry about. Just wanted to update everyone. I had an ultrasound done.
