Bad reaction to alcohol during startup?

Ive been on 50mg for about 3 and a half weeks now. I hardly ever drink and its probably been about a year since my last. I was out with friends about 4 days ago and having one of the first truly good days without unrelenting anxiety. I decided to have one beer. I felt really great for most of the night, but the next day when I woke up, I felt absolutely horrid. The depression and anxiety was back full force and I havent really been the same since.

Does alcohol interfere with the Sertraline?

Unfortunately I can't answer that but I'm sure someone will be along with some knowledge, I'm not a drinker either and it has never really 'agreed' with me, however when suffering badly with anxiety and depression it just makes things a million times worse the next day, for me anyway
