I just wanted to reassure that it turned out to be harmless. I had a nasal scope ( that saw my throat), a blood test and an ultrasound of my throat and no abnormalities were detected. The ultrasonographer said it was probably my cartilage in my throat rubbing against a bone when I swallowed. My doctor also identified a bit of acid reflux in my throat. Why it only happened now? Who knows. I do still get it when I swallow and my head is in the down position (I.e. Chin touching my chest) but I rarely think about it because I know it is thankfully nothing scary causing it. The anxiety here is gone.
I hope you find some peace soon. X
