Hi Dale, what dose are you taking?

I personally didn't notice much when I started it apart from finding it really hard to get going in the mornings.

That said, it seemed to help my anxiety for about 3 months but now I've added venlafaxine as the anxiety came back for me pretty bad a couple of weeks ago.

I am on Mirtrazipine and when I first took 15 mgs. I was all over the place because I am sensitive to any medication such as this. I was prescribed them for nausea and anxiety. I only take 7.5 mgs mostly but my doctor said I should be on 30 mgs. So I've just increased to 15 and am feeling fine. It helps with the nausea which has happened since my husband became ill.

I believe that the higher doses have fewer side effects for most people.

    Good luck, Elizabeth

No reaction at all. I found on this dose I was more sleepy and felt pretty crap in the morning but nothing worse than that.

I found the low dose did wonders for my appetite - I went from one extreme to the other, which was why I was put on it. I was bloody exhausted the morning after though.

The Dr also recommended it because I have a sensitive stomach.

I found the daytime exhaustion eased up but I am on 30 mg so it may effect you differently. I think with all these meds it takes a while for things to settle.

The Mirt is good for appetite and I didn't have any nausea on it (I also have a sensitive stomach) as I did with SSRIs.
