    Lightbulb Different agoraphobic origins?

Is agoraphobia ONLY for those who fear social settings as a source of panic in itself or can it be caused by something else? I, for example, am not triggered by people or social events. My panic attacks most often result from physical symptoms or mental thoughts/anxiety as a sufferer from health anxiety. THEN, if I have a panic attack in a public place, I fear going to those places by fear of having another panic attack there and sometimes reinforces itself to the point where I almost can't or can't leave home.

The result is the same, but not triggered by what seems to be the wide definition of agoraphobia.

    Am not scared of people
    or been out side.
Am scared of the panic attack the feeling it brings
So i dont go out because of the fear of the feeling of a attack.
if someone said to me 100% you will not have a attack i would be Fine and out doing stuff
instead of been stuck in the house doing same day in day out :( :(

I'm not afraid of social gatherings either, or large groups of people. I actually kind of love going to places where there are a lot of people! I'm always the first one to say yes to a party invite.
It's more about being in general situations where escape would be hard, and if it's far away from home I'm likely to say no. It's the panic attack I'm afraid of, not social situations.
