i am suffering the most awful panic attacks for the last 3days went back to doctors and all he told me to do is increase the propranalol10mg1x3 times a day to 2x3 times a day.but that hasnt calmed me down any .what else can i do

Are you getting any other help other than seeing your GP? If not, maybe consider asking to get CBT or see a counsellor? Those things can help

Hi Mili,
As Louise asks, are you getting any other form of help? I believe you can take up to 80mg of propanalol a day, and it also comes in a slow-release form, so you could take one tablet, instead of the hassle of several. Perhaps your doc will increase your dose?

i had 12weeks of councilling but they never got to what was causing this anxiety and horrible fears,i have phoned a privete counciller but they want£35 a hour and no way can i afford that.i am worse when alone in the house without my husband i feel so like ending it all
