Before i ask my question , just to let you know this is not something im anxious about i just stumbled across this yesterday after being to the opticians,

i just wanted to know if an optician could/should spot underlying health problems when viewing your eyeS?

I know they should be able to spot a number of condiions, purely based upon examining your eyes. Things like diabetes and high blood pressure.
