Liver function tests and liver disease

Hi

How accurate are liver function tests?

Can you tell if you have cirrhosis by them?

If a full blood count and liver function test come back OK, can liver disease be ruled out?

Liver function test does tell whether there is damage to the liver.
They can also tell by elevated protein in the blood.
I do have to add tho that just because a blood test might show elevated LFT and/or protein doesn't mean cirrhosis! I have hypothyroidism and if I don't take my meds, my LFT goes thru the roof!!
