I'm sure it will be fine. A lot easier than you would think and nurses and Drs understand you will be nervous so are very helpful.

I can do the procedure its the outcome and the Dr when they come back in to tell you you have cancer....WTF, I am sorry but I am literally so upset and worried of what they might find!

How did things go on Friday?

I've been given a new cocktail of drugs to take to try kill helicobacter but going to have to discuss with dr first as one of them I'm not too sure about.

Supposed to take levofloxacin 500mg
Metronidazole 400mg twice a day
Nexium 20mg twice a day

10 days and then need to get re-tested.

Anyone ever taken levofloxacin? Sounds a harsh antibiotic and can cause ruptured tendon.
Had ciprofloxacin once and had problems similar so not sure about this mix just yet! Also no guarantee of 100% cure anyway which is so frustrating, going through hell for ten days and possibly still not in the clear. Buts what's the alternative?

I didnt go as work would not allow me Friday off due to unforeseen circumstances. I am gojng to my GP Wed and asking for him to refer me, i was going private but was going to cost £1800, ill push the GP to refer me instead!

Im still petrified but ive taken my mind off the issues the weekend, worry will not help me, if its bad news worry will not make it go away! My BM are now back to what they used to be i.e mushy pudding like!! Weird........

I hope you ok?! I got tested for H. Pylori in Mar and it was neg so wondering if its this as symptoms started after i was tested. Im sure the GP On Wed will take bloods and see what that reveals

Been to the GP and he has requested a FBC and some other calcium and protein blood tests. He has referred me for a colonoscopy......

I AM FREAKING OUT........I am so scared of the blood test results & the procedure, considering the home blood test I did which showed elevated MCV which I have read on my bowel cancer forums that B12 deficiency can also be an indication of CC!!!!

NOT A GOOD FEELING right now!
