Yes you can and you have to in order to get better. I know it's hard. Have the blood tests done and your GP will decide whether you need a colonoscopy based on the results.

All lot of people with HA also have ocd concerning their health and I know how hard it is to stop these behaviours.
I have been referred already....bloods been taken this morning....
Best you have this done on the NHS rather than shelling out for private blood tests etc. Although it's hard it's really important to stop Googling and also to stop going on forums which help and support people with diagnosed bowel cancer.
Its such a way of life at the moment..... Stuck in such a rut.... With what ifs....
You need to shut out the "what ifs" though. They don't serve any purpose other than to increase your anxiety.
true............
So i saw the GP on Wed and have already got my referral letter........ This means he has put an urgent referral meaning he suspects cc!!!!
Im so freaking out right now!!!!
I got my biopsy results yesterday from the stomach and bowel.
Bowel was fine, stomach showed gastric inflammation due to helicobacter. Just wondering anyone else with helicobacter and what symptoms do you get?
I've had this now for at least a year possibly a lot longer and had a whole range of problems. It's a very hard bacteria to kill and I've already had the eradication therapy once which failed and made me very poorly.
Anyone tried mastic gum to help? I'm taking 1g am and 1gm pm as well as loads of other Suppliments to heal a leaky gut,
