Has anyone used hypnotherapy for anxiety/phobias?

Has anyone used hypnotherapy and did it work?

I became addicted to valium, then developed asthma from propanol. So I have no 'crutch'when anxiety/panic strikes. So as a last resort I am going to a hypnotherapist Friday.

hope your doing ok, i have signed up for cbt for my anxiety, but am intrigued by hypnotherapy, i would be very interested to hear how you go on.
