Anxiety Preventing Menstruation?

Hello,

My period has been very irregular since my anxiety began, but for the past year or so, I have been missing it some months. I had an ultrasound and the results were fine, but I am still worried. I understand that stress can interfere with your cycle and ovulation, but I fear that it may cause problems in the future when I want to have children.

Has anyone experienced this?

I have experienced this, yes. When I was at my worst, my periods would skip, but nothing was ever wrong with me physically. However, things would go back to normal rather quickly, and my periods would restart, so please be reassured.
