For months and months now, I've had odd pains and an uncomfortable feeling in my lower left hand side. It comes and goes on random days but I've noticed a potential pattern with either overeating or eating gluten (I've been gluten free for two years but occasionally eat a bit).
It doesn't feel like typical IBS pain though. It feels like there's a weight on my left hip. I guess it feels like I'm bloated in that one area and the bloatedness is pushing on my hip bone. When I'm sitting or bend over, it feels like I'm squashing that area to the point of making it burst. Its that tight, stretching type feeling.
Its not super painful, its more a bloated, squeezing sensation but it's very uncomfortable and kickstarts my anxiety and makes me worry about appendicitis or a bowel blockage or gallstones etc.
Does anyone get anything similar or have any reassuring thoughts for me about whether IBS could be to blame?
