    Roller coaster!

I have previously been on 20mg fluoxetine for years to control anxiety. Then 3 months ago I stupidly stopped taking it cold turkey!! Biggest mistake ever. I've been back on it for 5 weeks now, and a week and a half ago felt on top of the world, but now I have come back down with a thud! Is it normal to have ups and downs? I cannot remember from the first time I took it. Positive replies only please as I don't want my anxiety to sky rocket. I find mornings are the worst, and then some afternoons I feel like me again.

Also, any ladies find their period makes their anxiety worse? My crash seemed to coincide with my period starting

    Hi Emma

Yes I always have higher anxiety leading up to my period.

Also I think it;s normal to have setbacks in recovery, unfortunately, But if you were feeling a lot better such a short time ago, that means you can feel that way again!

Thank you for your reply. I just feel so helpless at the moment. I went from being on cloud 9 to back to earth with a thud. Are you on fluoxetine? How long did your recovery take? I remember it being a lot quicker than this last time I was on them.

Totally agree, mornings are hell and afternoons seem to level out.
    Keep at it x
