Beta blockers

I have really bad anxiety and walk really off balance, I spoke to my dr and she wants to put me on beta blockers. I have been in them before but I took one tablet because I read the side effects. I was wondering if anyone has taken these and it's helped with balance issues?

I've tried propanolol & it did nothing for me. I don't think it works for someone who has really bad anxiety like you & me.

I was on beta blockers for years. It helped me with the physical side of anxiety such as feeling sick, shaking hands and so forth. I found it also helped to calm me down and make me feel in control of my body in situations which would cause me anxiety. I never had any side effects when I took them.
