Hiya everyone. I have recently read a brilliant book called 'the mood cure' and have finally got over my problem with tablet taking and started on 5HTP. During the day I'm fine and can already feel some benefit but I am still having the problem of waking up in a panic at 3.00am. So, my question is, how long does this supplement take to fully alleviate symptoms? I have also stepped up my protein comsumption as recommended and take 50mg of 5HTP mid afternoon and then another dose at bedtime. I am being very brave and have cut out all caffeine (not easy!!) so I think i am doing good things to help my problem. I'd be grateful for any ideas peeps!! best wishes, Maz xx
