Would Diazipam taken at bedtime stop morning panic?

Having morning panic atacks and take 2mg Diazipam when I get one. If I took Diazipam at bedtime would this help prevent one? Panic attacks worse since starting fluoxetine 16 days ago.

it might make them a little less but for me 2mg doesn't so much for a panic (I've always needed 2 x 2mg) and the effect only usually lasts for about 3 hours.

There is a little bit of calming effect that lasts the next day I think but maybe it's in my mind. The stuff itself stays in your body ages though (5-6 days according to my psych).

    Morning..

Ive used diazapam for flying and my anxiety (sheer terror) a night before is hideous.

When I have taken the night before, it has made a big difference.

I have 5mg tabs and might get away with taking half of that to calm me quite a lot.
