Got to go for chest X-ray

Hi I have got to go for a chest X-ray and I don't know how I'm going to get it done as I'm scared of traveling on buses taxes cars and to scared to go on my own it's too far for me to walk to the hospital as it is 7 miles away I'm even scared to go even if someone is with me or takes me in thier car.i know I need to go and get it done but even just thinking about going I get so anxiousness and scared can anyone give me some advice on how I can do it.

when is it can you do a couple of trial runs first to see what is to be expected. what about taking an ipod or something to listen to and some magazines,
remember these things normal turn out to be a lot easier than anticipated and once its over we are like wow was that it.
try not to think about it to much before hand you will only wind yourself up.
if you have the option to take a friend then do I feel a lot easier with someone with me as they can talk to me to keep me occupied.
