How easy would it be to notice/feel a lump on your testicles?

You should be able to feel it quite easily. Be gentle though!
Don't automatically think the worst if you do find anything though. I've got a lump attached to mine that is completely benign, just some kind of gristly growth.

As Astray has said, it should be noticeable and dont panic if you find one, I too have a small lump which was found to be harmless some 5yrs ago.

Good GP's nowadays can tell by the shape of it and will refer you for a ultra sound scan, totally painless, just to be certain.

I faced this problem earlier this year, GP thought he felt a lump, so he referred me to see the specialist just to be 100% certain.

All what was seen on the ultrasound was some cysts relating to the epdidymis (sp?)
