Sorry - but if this occured and you have doubts - go to the Doctors now and get the test done. Dont wait around.

Can't you also trap wind in your rip cage or something giving quite extreme (but benign) discomfort?

Heart attacks do come in different forms. A friend of mine went to A&E because he felt unwell and it turned out he was having a heart attack. He'd driven himself there having debated whether or not to go!

But pregnancy can give you indigestion and anxiety can do all sorts of unpleasant (but harmless) things to you. I'd be amazed if it wasn't one of those two.

So I had my appt, told the dr everything I've had happen.. He listened to my chest, checked my blood pressure andbasically laughed me out of the office.. He said its would be extremely unlikely that a 24 year old woman would have suffered a heart attack and that my heart beat wasn't irregular and sounded healthy.. So no ecg, no referral anywhere. Not sure how I feel about it really! X

Yes they can
A heart attack release certain enzymes that will show up.

A hospital emergency department will give you a multi-lead ECG which can detect the damage to the heart muscle a heart attack causes. It also will still work months later. I mention this only so you know it's an option.
