Thread: Upper Stomach Bloat

No, it's recommended here once you hit 50. So part of the annual exam. First one was fine, second had the one positive. I do have a sensitive stomach and my HA just complicates things. Often there is undigested food in my stool. My GP suggested IBS.

    Glad yours went well!

Oh ok! I had no idea your age. Sounds like IBS to me since its so closely linked with Anxiety.

Did they do any blood tests regarding the upper stomach discomfort? I sometimes am worried its my liver even though this is more so on my slight left side (liver is mostly on right side). I know its a little irrational since I don't have any liver symptoms though...

I did a series of blood tests for my physical including thyroid and all came back normal besides low vitamin D. The frustrating part for me over this discomfort is in the morning, I feel fine. Seems as I eat/worry through the day, the pressure builds up again. Do you plan to follow up with your GP or Gastro about it? Maybe there is another med that will help.
