Definitely not. If anything it would make your anxiety worse as it tends to do when starting up. Venlafaxine doesn't have any instant effect like diazepam and you have to take it daily for weeks before it helps with anxiety.

No you can't. Im on this and im having a terrible time, especially with withdrawals if I'm late taking it.
